Photo - New generation terminal

Since April 28, 2008, Loto-Québec has been progressively replacing the 8,600 game terminals in its network. This work will take 12 months to complete. Moving forward, all Loto-Québec retailers will be required to have a terminal. The new terminals constitute the strategic tool allowing for the implementation of many of the measures in the KPMG report.

The new generation terminal has many features including a 19-inch consumer display that shows information on validation transactions and products as well as messages for clients on procedures to follow for ticket validation, such as:

  • Signing tickets
  • Watching the consumer display
  • Listening carefully to musical themes
  • Insisting on the return of your tickets and validation coupons

In addition to lottery results, this equipment is able to print general information in French and English on topics such as where to claim a prize, addresses and business hours of Loto-Québec offices and Customer Service, etc.

You should also note that the toll-free telephone number, 1 866 611-LOTO and the customer service e-mail address are visible to both consumers and retailers on the consumer display.
