Summer Internship and Scholarship Program for Handicapped Students

This program is intended for college and university students living with significant and long term functional limitations. It is made up of two segments:

• Part 1: Summer internships
• Part 2: Scholarships

Loto-Québec and its subsidiaries offer 12 paid summer internships associated with 12 scholarships.

The program allows students to:

• acquire 12 weeks of working experience in a stimulating environment in a field related to their interests; and
• benefit from a scholarship.

2010-2011 Report and 2011-2012 Action Plan in Regard to Handicapped Persons at Loto-Québec

The Act to secure handicapped persons in the exercise of their rights with a view to achieving social, school and workplace integration (Article 61.1) requires every government department or public agency employing at least 50 persons to adopt an action plan.
