This ice canoe race is part of the Circuit Québécois de Canot à Glace between L'Isle‑aux‑Coudres and Saint‑Joseph‑de‑la‑Rive. As the only salt water competition, it is reminiscent of the legendary mail crossings of yore when the canoe was the only mode of transportation for islanders. Over 45 teams take part in this challenge – come and witness their skill!
